Hyxi 10 kWh home battery with full backup

In Assendelft we went to work on a house that is heated entirely electrically. With 26 solar panels on the roof, the foundation was already firmly in place. The logical next step: a HYXi home battery that also makes optimal use of all that generated energy.

The HYXi was installed here with full backup function, included as standard with this system. That means that in the event of a power outage, the home continues to run automatically and seamlessly, from the heating to the refrigerator. Especially for an all-electric heated home, this is extra nice, so hot showers can still be taken if the mains power is cut.

Thanks to the 26 panels, the battery is amply recharged daily in the spring and summer with the home's own solar energy, so the household runs largely on its own power during that period. In the winter months, the yield is lower and the consumption for heating is higher. Then another advantage of the battery comes in handy: buying power at times when energy prices are low, and using that cheap power later when it is more expensive. In this way, savings are made on energy bills all year round, even when the sun is less active.

The HYXi system is modular, which means that expansion to a higher storage capacity is always possible later without additional modifications. A future-proof choice that perfectly matches the ambition of this home.
