20 Battery-Ready Solar Panels with Enphase Micro-inverters at a semi-detached house

For these two neighbors in a semi-detached house, we have realized a battery-ready solar panel system. After the roof renovation, they decided to have panels installed at the same time: a total of 20 pieces, spread over two connections.

An east-west arrangement with micro-inverters was chosen for this system. This spreads the generation nicely over the day and you not only have output around the peak, but also in the morning and afternoon. This better matches the daily consumption and also helps to relieve the energy grid.

 By cleverly planning their consumption, such as charging the car or running the dishwasher during the day, they make maximum use of their own solar energy.

Until January 1, 2027, they will still benefit from net metering. After that, both households want to add a home battery. This is how they control their "own balancing" with smart hardware installed by SunCharged.
