In Oegstgeest, we realized a complete energy system that makes the house practically self-sufficient in the sunny months. The heart of the system is a Sigenergy home battery of 18 kWh with full backup function, supplemented by 14 solar panels in an east-west arrangement on the flat roof. Wiring for the charging station that will be added later is prepared right away.
The east-west arrangement on the flat roof spreads the generation over a longer period each day. Early in the morning already yield by the panels with the eastern orientation, until late in the afternoon by the panels towards the west. Combined with 18 kWh of battery capacity, this means that much of the daily consumption comes directly from one's own roof.
The Sigen Energy Gateway ensures that in the event of a power failure, the home is automatically disconnected from the grid and seamlessly switches to battery power. All groups in the home continue to operate as normal. With solar panels that continue to charge even during a grid failure, the system can continue to run for an extended period of time in the event of an outage.
The customer wanted an installation that doesn't look like one from the street. This was achieved. All the pipes outside are tightly concealed in a color that matches the facade. From the road you hardly see anything of it. Anyone who wants the professional work to be invisible has come to the right place with SunCharged.
