Project Description

In Amstelveen we installed a complete Anker Solix system: 9 solar panels, 10 kWh home battery and an EV charger, all from the same brand and all coordinated with each other. That sounds like a detail, but it makes a big difference in practice. No hassle with separate systems that have to communicate with each other, no multiple apps. One ecosystem, one overview.

The panels are spread across the roof: 5 on the pitched roof and 4 on the flat roofs of the dormers. This spread ensures that there is yield over a longer period of the day. What is generated during the day goes into the battery, so that in the evening and at night the house can continue to run on its own power. The 10 kWh battery is more than enough to cover the nighttime consumption of an average home.
The car charges preferably at the time when there is a surplus. In this way, the car runs as much as possible on power from its own roof, without a great deal of effort.

The choice of an integrated system like the Anker Solix is not accidental. For those who want to combine solar panels, storage and a charging station, this system offers a clear and well thought-out solution. Everything works together, the installation is compact and the operation is simple. A fine example of what an all-electric home installation can look like in practice.
